We have recently demonstrated the use of trail cameras for continuous canopy monitoring, the CrowNet monitoring system (Chianucci et al. 2025)
Here, we used continuous camera to support poplar plantation forestry. We analysed the impact of poplar clones and irrigation management on canopy attributes.
Our results showed that both factors influence the canopy structure and its development.
Results support use of continuous camera for precision forestry application like plantation monitoring.
